Expect nighttime lane closures on US 72. The Alabama Department of Transportation says to expect single-lane closures tonight and Tuesday evening into Wednesday morning on U.S. 72/Florence Boulevard between Indian Springs Drive and Sky Park Road.
The contractor will be removing old stripe and placing temporary stripe from 7 p.m. to 6 a.m. both nights.
Lanes will be narrower in the work zone following restriping. Please reduce speed and drive with caution.
Tentatively, the contractor plans to implement additional nighttime lane closures Nov. 12 through Nov. 14 during installation of temporary concrete barriers.
